Areas we serve
Across Cheshire and Merseyside
Keys supports children and young people placed by local authorities across Cheshire & Merseyside. Each home is registered with and inspected by Ofsted, the regulator for children's social care in England.
Homes provide spacious bedrooms, communal living areas, outdoor recreational space, on-site educational resources, and dedicated therapeutic rooms. Placements can be single-occupancy or dual, and homes range from three to eight beds, giving placement teams choice across the county and the wider North West.
For children’s safety we describe the areas we support rather than naming individual children’s homes or addresses. We also accept referrals from beyond Cheshire and Merseyside.

Information for placing teams
Placing social workers and commissioners can check current vacancies in Cheshire & Merseyside with the Keys referrals team. Every placement starts with an initial enquiry and a thorough assessment of the young person's needs before a suitable home is identified, with ongoing support once they move in. Staff are trained in the Keys Connect trauma-informed model.
