About the day
A highlight of the afternoon will be a presentation from Christopher Scoffield, our National Lead for Acquired Brain Injury. Drawing on his extensive experience in the field, Chris will share insights into the challenges people can face following an acquired brain injury and the vital role specialist rehabilitation plays in supporting recovery. He'll explore the Frontal Lobe Paradox, helping attendees understand why someone may appear capable of managing everyday tasks while still needing support to put those skills into practice. The session will showcase how rehabilitation, structured support and meaningful community engagement can help people rebuild confidence, regain independence and take positive steps towards reconnecting with their communities and achieving their long-term goals.
