Victoria Villas
Victoria Villas is a residential family assessment centre in Southport-on-Severn, supporting up to six families and their children at a time. It assesses parenting capacity for families affected by learning difficulties, substance misuse, or mental health challenges, providing a safe and structured environment shaped around each family.
Assessments are delivered by a skilled team trained in the trauma-informed Keys Connect model, and the centre is rated Good by Ofsted.

About the centre
Victoria Villas specialises in supporting families affected by learning difficulties, substance misuse and mental health challenges. With capacity for up to six families, it offers a safe and nurturing environment tailored to the unique needs of each family.
Each family has their own bedroom with an en-suite, alongside homely shared spaces including a kitchen, lounge, playroom, dining room and on-site laundry.
Our support process
Support is delivered by a skilled team trained in the trauma-informed Keys Connect model, keeping our approach sensitive to each family's experiences and needs. Our process includes:
- Initial assessment — understanding the unique needs and challenges of each family.
- Tailored support plans — creating personalised plans to address specific issues and promote positive outcomes.
- Ongoing monitoring — regular check-ins to adjust support as needed.
- Feedback and evaluation — making sure families are satisfied with the support and making improvements where needed.

How does an assessment at Victoria Villas work?
Assessment follows four stages: an initial assessment of the family's needs, a tailored support plan, ongoing monitoring with regular check-ins, and feedback and evaluation. The length of each placement is agreed with the placing authority.

Connected Support
Support centred around each individual.
We call it Connected Support.
A network of Care, Education and Health services for children, young people and adults, seamlessly connecting specialist schools, alternative learning solutions, children’s homes, adult residential, supported living and health services and expertise.
