Pen Bryn is a residential care home in Porth, in the Rhondda Valley, supporting up to seven adults with complex mental health needs or learning disabilities. The three-storey home has five en-suite bedrooms plus self-contained and studio flats for people building independence.

Support is recovery-focused and person-centred, using the Mental Health Recovery Star and tailored coping strategies. The home is regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

Pen Bryn in Porth is a supportive home for up to seven people with complex mental health needs or learning disabilities. We help each person live as independently as possible by building confidence, developing life skills and supporting them to achieve their personal goals.

Through a recovery-focused, person-centred approach and tools such as the Mental Health Recovery Star, we help people develop coping strategies, access training and education, and take ownership of their own recovery journey.
