Ty Camlas is a residential mental health home in Ystradgynlais, near Swansea, supporting adults of all genders who are working towards recovery and greater independence. The home offers a safe, homely setting where each person's beliefs, choices and aspirations shape their support.

Care is planned around the Recovery Star, an outcomes-based tool that tracks progress in managing mental health, building social networks, developing living skills and growing self-esteem. The home is regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

At Ty Camlas, we support adults with mental health needs on their journey towards recovery and greater independence. We offer a safe, nurturing and homely environment that values each person’s beliefs, choices and aspirations.

Our person-centred, outcomes-focused approach uses the Recovery Star model to guide support, while staff trained in positive risk management and clinical care help people move safely along a pathway towards more independent living.
