About

About the home

Kington Court is a community-based residential home in Barry, made up of a main 'House' and an adjoining 'Annex'. We support male adults with mental health needs — including schizophrenia, personality disorders and alcohol or substance misuse — and have extensive experience of learning disabilities, dual diagnoses and acquired brain injuries, providing rehabilitation that focuses on greater independence.

Our approach is warm and outcome-focused, using tools such as Goal Attainment Scaling, the Recovery Star and Active Support to plan and track progress. The Annex offers en-suite accommodation with mobility aids, handrails and a stair lift for people with more complex physical needs, close to the seaside, parks and good transport links.
